Free to Be has designed a variety of curricula and presentations to fit the diverse needs of our community.
Free to Be is committed to delivering its positive message wherever teens might be found!

Following are a list of the program components currently offered by Free to Be. For information about bringing Free to Be to your group, contact Casey.
Youth Programs
Mini Life Choice- 1 session presentation, Grades 5-7
- Developing healthy friendships
- Understanding the difference between infatuation and love
Junior Life Choice- 3 session curriculum, Grades 6-8
- Building self-esteem and sense of purpose
- Developing healthy relationships
- Understanding how consequences of sex can affect life goals
- Responding to pressure in decision-making
- Learning the freedoms of abstinence
Life Choice One- 5-7 session curriculum, Grades 7-12
- Forming and maintaining healthy relationships
- Understanding consequences of sex in the whole person (physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual)
- Understanding sexually transmitted diseases
- Responding to pressure in decision-making
- Learning refusal skills and how to maintain an abstinent decision
- Learning the freedoms of abstinence
Life Choice Two- 4 session curriculum, Grades 9-12
- Developing personal maturity
- Recognizing core values in making good decisions
- Practicing loving relationships
- Establishing life goals and discussing potential obstacles
- Creating a life mission statement and living with integrity
Free to Be Teen Panel- one session presentation, Grades 7-12
Focusing on the freedoms of sexual abstinence, teen speakers share their experiences and discuss with their peers why they have chosen abstinence until marriage.
Custom Components
Free to Be is available to customize the above curricula for a specific audience from one to ten sessions, grades 5-12 in the form of Workshops, School Assemblies, and Youth Rallies.

Transforming “Nor Cal”…
Free to Be currently presents its programs throughout the Sonoma and Napa Counties of Northern California. In the near future, we will be expanding our programs to other areas of California, and eventually, other states! Click here for information about replicating our program in your area.
