Join the "Speak Up Sonoma County!" Campaign

Speak Up Sonoma County Campaign is a call to action of all supporters of abstinence education and Free to Be to counter recent attacks from the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union). SUSCC gives a voice back to the youth and affirms that teens are free to hear a balanced approach regarding their sexual health.

Through misinformation and intimidation, the ACLU is preventing the youth of Sonoma County from hearing a strong message about postponing sex until marriage.

Legally Free to Be fulfills requirements of the Ed Code as part of comprehensive sex education provided by school districts in Sonoma County. Free to Be curriculum is not provided in a stand-alone format in Sonoma County. Students receive information from other speakers and from teachers that help them with decisions concerning their sexual health.

Help get Free to Be back into Sonoma County public schools by raising awareness about our organization through School-based Advocacy, Community Advocacy, and/or Media Advocacy.
